Bola del Mundo from Cerro Ventoso (a short hike west of Collado Ventoso). The Camino Schmid trail winds down through there starting about half a kilometre forward, to the right and down from here.

(From Collado Ventoso) This is the valley of "Las Dehesas" that leads down and a little bit to the left there to the train station at Cercedilla.
The little lake (looks like a pond in the photo) in the centre towards the bottom
is a pay-for swimming hole.
The whole area has picnic tables, etc. and is criss-crossed with hiking trails.
