Plaza de Santa Ana

I've had a lot of students say that this area is the best area in Madrid for partying or tapa hopping of any kind. In fact, it seems like I almost always end up around here whenever I go out. I never hang out at Plaza de Santa Ana itself, though one of my students who is an executive in a nearby luxury hotel just about swears by it. Actually, the whole area is just getting ritzier and ritzier as City Hall has taken a very active interest in renovating it with extensive pedestrian areas, etc. and new luxury hotels are popping up all over the place.
