Telephone Teaching / élogos offers a wide range of services to its clients ranging from telephone classes, face to face classes and intensive courses.

Facilities and classrooms: Most classes are off-site and either take place in company or from the teachers own home. However, we do have fully-equipped meeting rooms available. Have good materials support, photocopier? The teachers are provided with all of the materials they need. The manuals for the telephone classes are produced in-house by the school itself. We also have a library at the office as well as an online library and collaborative space where teachers can download (and upload!) material. Have "Director of Studies" (DOS) support? Ana Gaytán, Ana Martin and Stephanie Gay are all available in the Madrid office to support teachers. VIPs on staff? Our teachers.

Qualification requirements for employment? A TEFL certificate and relevant experience. Experience requirements for employment? One year of experience is required. We value your experience not only as a teacher but in other business areas. A personal interview is a must. Hire at a distance? A face-to-face interview is required. We also conduct interviews by telephone for teachers living outside of the Madrid area. Hire Americans and do their papers? This is decided on an individual basis. Telephone Teaching has done working-permit papers for teachers in the past. Preference for British or Americans? Why? None. Estimated teachers hired yearly: 25 upwards. Teachers at Telephone Teaching for over 4 years? 18. Best part about working at Telephone Teaching: There is a great deal of trust between teachers and management. Teachers don't need to call in about re-scheduling problems, for example, and during the holidays are free to re-schedule their students as needed. End-of-month paperwork can be sent by fax or email. Offer teacher training or development along with job? The initial Telephone Teaching training period only. The training consists of several 2-hour intensive days working with the manuals followed by a demo class with a volunteer student. Starters' average salary? We prefer to speak about this in the interview.
