Botanical Garden

These are photos of the Royal Botanical Gardens in Madrid just
northeast of Atocha train station (a 10 minute walk) next to the
Prado Museum. It costs around 2 euros to get in per person (little
children free, etc.).
There are some 8,000 species on 20 acres of these extremely
pleasant gardens which were built in the late 1700s. Some of
their really healthy trees reach 40 metres and overall the grounds
and identifying signs are kept up very well.
