My working method:
At the beginning of every course I evaluate the aims and needs
of each group / student and their previous knowledge in case they
have studied German before. After that we choose the adequate
material: That can either be a textbook or a variety of materials
like press articles, videos, speaking exercises, etc. I always
try to create an friendly and relaxed atmosphere in class, as
the atmosphere is one of the key factors for successful language
acquisition. At the end of each month I write a progress report
for each group / student.
I offer the following courses:
General German:
German classes once or twice a week, depending on availability
and progress desired. Before starting the course I set up a
programme according to the students’ level and aims.
German for specific purposes:
Courses for any business branch: German classes
focused on specific topics, like Business German, Financial
German, German for journalists, etc. Like in all other courses
there will be an aims and needs analysis at the beginning and
I will design a special programme accordingly. Depending on
the branch these courses may have a small supplement, because
some topics require a thorough investigation and the preparation
of special material.
