Most Frequent Verbs List

You must memorize these words on this list. About 50% of the "verbs" vocabulary words in texts are verbs on this list. If you learn this list by heart, you will be able to understand English better. It's important to learn the basic vocabulary very well. It is better to memorize the verbs in context when you read books or in conversation than the translations in Spanish.

You sometimes put on too much make-up. (A veces te pones demasiado maquillaje.)




read - (leer)
They read ten books a month. (Leen diez libros al mes.)




say - (decir)
I never say the truth. (Nunca digo la verdad.)




said - (dijo)
He said he liked the movie. (Dijo que le gustaba la película.)




see - (ver)
